This Privacy Policy for Lamorinda Strong (“we,” “us,” or “our”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use our websites, products, and services (the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. For questions, contact: rebecca@lamorindastrong.com.

• We generally do not receive data from third parties.
• We use information to operate the Services, communicate with you, process transactions, improve security, and meet legal obligations.

• You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your data and to opt out of certain uses, depending on your location.

For details, see the sections below.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. Information you provide to us
We collect personal information you voluntarily provide when you request information, sign up for communications, create an account, register for events, make a purchase or donation, fill out a form, or otherwise interact with us. Examples include:
• Names
• Email addresses
• Mailing addresses
• Phone numbers
• Account credentials (we do not store plain-text passwords)
• Transaction details (e.g., items purchased, amounts, dates)

Sensitive information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as racial or ethnic origin, health information, or precise location beyond IP-based region). Please do not submit such data through the Services.

Payment data
If you make a payment, your payment information (such as card number and security code) is collected and processed by our payment provider, GoDaddy. We do not store full card details. See GoDaddy’s privacy policy for more information: https://www.godaddy.com/en-in/legal/agreements/privacy-policy.

Accuracy
All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate. Please notify us of any changes.

B. Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect certain data for security, operations, and internal analytics, such as:
• Log and usage data (pages viewed, links clicked, error reports, timestamps)
• Device data (device type, browser type, operating system, internet service provider)
• Location data (approximate, derived from IP address—you may restrict this in your device or browser settings)

C. Information from third parties
We generally do not receive personal information from third parties. If we do, we will disclose the source and purpose at the time of collection or in an update to this Policy.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use personal information to:
• Provide and support the Services (accounts, registrations, customer support)
• Communicate with you (service, transactional, and administrative messages)
• Process transactions (payments, orders, returns, refunds)
• Send marketing communications consistent with your preferences (you may opt out at any time)
• Request and respond to feedback and surveys
• Maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse
• Conduct analytics to improve features, content, and user experience
• Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations
• Perform any other purpose described at the time of collection or with your consent

WHEN AND WITH WHOM WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share personal information with:
• Service providers that perform services for us (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics), under contracts that require appropriate protections
• Parties to a business transfer (e.g., merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets)
• Authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

  1. We retain personal information as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. When no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize the information. If immediate deletion is not possible (e.g., backups), we securely store and isolate it until deletion is feasible.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should use strong, unique passwords and access the Services in secure environments.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete it and take appropriate steps to disable related accounts. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact rebecca@lamorindastrong.com.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
• Know whether we process your personal information
• Access and obtain a copy of your personal information
• Correct inaccuracies
• Request deletion
• Opt out of certain processing (e.g., marketing emails)

To exercise rights or make a request, email: rebecca@lamorindastrong.com. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in the email or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages (e.g., transactional notices).

We will verify requests as required by law and respond within applicable timelines. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf as permitted by law.

DO-NOT-TRACK (DNT)

Because no uniform industry standard exists for responding to DNT signals, we do not currently respond to them. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will update this Policy.

U.S. STATE-SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES

Residents of certain U.S. states (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and others with similar laws) may have additional rights, including rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of personal information, opt out of targeted advertising, “sale,” or certain profiling, and to appeal our decisions. To exercise these rights or submit an appeal, contact: rebecca@lamorindastrong.com. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above indicates the latest revision. Changes are effective when posted. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
